David Stewart

Where I have been on my way to St. Stephen:
Born in Alaska, I lived in Wyoming, Arizona, and Colorado before moving back to Missouri.

My Family: Wife Nancy (since 1991), former Banker turned mother of two who loves people, family, sports, scrapbooking and traveling. Christy (15 years old) who loves to sing, play the flute in marching band, and be with her friends. Ben (8 years old), who loves to play any sport and is always ready to travel.

My Work Experience:
I Worked in a wide variety of settings including on the farm, highway crew, waiting tables, baseball, ice cream store manager, and construction on my way to becoming a pastor. This gave me a passion and understanding for people and lives that people live who are not involved in a church.

My Education:
Attended college at Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri and Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Trained for ministry at Iliff School of Theology and followed that with the Beeson program at Asbury.

Just to laugh and have fun:
I love to play golf, softball and basketball. I also love to travel with the family,and enjoy the kids.

For Inspiration:
I love to hike and ski in the mountains or play at the beach. I love to see people connect with God and take the next step in their spiritual journey.
