Thank you to everyone who helped in any way with the Christmas Family Adoption project.

"SECOND SATURDAY SERVANTS" (The following is a reprint from the December 8th issue of the Lincoln County Journal)
Second Saturday Servants, a group of Christian men, women and youth from around Lincoln County, are joining together on the second Saturday of each month. The will do good works for those in need. December 12, 2009, marks the official start of the group.
They will do small home repairs, clean houses, yard work, painting, shoveling snow, and so on. They want to serve the elderly, widows, single moms, military families, and those with disabilities that are in need. All labor and material is free.
If you find yourself in need, pick up an application at Lincoln County Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, food banks, ask at your local church or call 636-528-7935. The address is Second Saturday Servants, P.O. Box 44, Troy, MO 63379. If you would like to join, please contact the Second Saturday Servants.
Remember, you don't have to be a Christian to receive help, only a neighbor in need. Let's all do our part to make Lincoln County a better place to live and raise a family.
God says in Romans 13:19, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

They are Herman Ridenour on the Board of Directors and Susan Robison on the Church relations committee. If you are interested in helping with this project contact Marg Wheeler 636-338-9341 and she will put you in touch with the steering committee.
BREAD FOR LIFE FOOD PANTRY
